Welcome to SEOContest2008. This is my official entry to the first SEO contest in 2008. I never participated in any SEO contests till date and this will be my one of my dream to win this contest. It will be a fun competing with experts and watching this contest grow.

In past there was lot of controversies because contests like this often leads to massive amounts of link spamming as participants try to boost the rankings of their pages by any means available, In my view this contest is different as organizers have put restrictions on using certain techniques. The keyword “SEOContest2008″ selected for this contest is also a unique word. Upto 31st January 2008 this keyword does not have any results in Google search results.
Unlike other contest in past, this keyword is not a meaningless keyword, and spreading a word about this contest will not led to keyword spam in Google Index. (IMO)
However, I am giving this SEO Contest a shot and it will be fun to watch how other contestant’s are responding to this contest.
