Time has changed and the internet space shows a lot of new stuffs which will blow away your mind. Here I am totally lost. In fact I am deviated from my prime task “ranking well with seocontest2008″. At first glance any one can easily say this is funny enough to laugh your heart out, but the logics makes some sense.
I found this interesting auction on sitepoint’s marketplace where a guy called Simon is selling a set of 264 circle shape dot com domains (every QWERTY keyboard circle) for a price of US$750,001. this concept is amazing but do they really worth this much of money!
The second thought who will be going to remember these domains? its very unusual for a layman. here are some of the example domains e.g. WWW. 09IKLP.COM, WWW. 0PLKI9.COM, WWW. 23ESAQ.COM, WWW. 2QASE3.COM, WWW. 32QASE.COM, WWW. 34RDSW.COM, WWW. 3ESAQ2.COM, WWW. 3WSDR4.COM and so on.
it’s also amused me that this guy have discounted all other TLD’s as he thinks Dot coms dominate the URL landscape. If he thinks this is a unique asset, one which can never be repeated why not registering all the TLD’s, why allows squatters a chance to sneak in his “novel” project!
I think most you are sitting in front of your machine and laughing at my post, oh… what a crap! please have look at original auction here at sitepoint marketplace: Amazing set of 264 circle shape dot coms (every QWERTY keyboard circle)
