Today Google is showing 9280 references of term seocontest2008. The no. are growing, domains names with keyword [seocontest2008] rocks the top positions. Today I am bound to think that Keyword in domain does not guarantee you top. All the domains, blogs with the keyword are doing well.
I have a different plan so, I am competing with an hyphenated URL [seo-contest-2008] as I always give less importance to keyword rich domains, though they are good for short term gains. I am having a slow start, but good to see this domain has been indexed by Google. Till now I am satisfied with the results, things are moving smoothly.
