Do you enjoy watching videos online? Do you like viewing videos or movies on Youtube.com or Google Videos? And did you know that you can use those videos to market or promote your products on the social networks?

Many online users use social profiles to connect with friends, say hello to their loved ones, build new relationships and start debates or make discussions.

Online social communities have evolved from being just places on the web were people can post their pictures or details about themselves.

Social communities have become thriving hubs for user interaction, file exchange, music and video sharing, as well as a place where people can join any group he or she desires. In a sense, social communities can echo the needs and interests of its members. And this is where the topic really begins.

Online social communities feature various groups or organizations, with members that share a common interest. Some of these members may have joined an online group to explore his love for paintings or photography. Other people might have joined online groups to express his or her love for the written word.

And of course, other people might have joined online groups to be able to build a network, share business cards, and do some business. There are really plenty of reasons why users join online social communities.

Understanding this, it can be determined that there’s really a good market in online social communities. It’s a niche for some online marketers, waiting to present the latest product, the latest trend on the internet.

And what’s the best way to catch the attention of hundreds of users who are in a particular group in a social community? Text ads will do, but online videos can really strike a chord.

Millions of users watch videos on different video sharing websites. Youtube, Google Videos, and many other video sharing servers can be found online. If an online marketer has the skills or the knowledge to utilize modern-day video editing applications, then he or she can surely take advantage of the growing demands for different promotional tools over social communities.

Many companies are looking for people who can answer this demand for quality marketing videos that can capture the large market on social communities.

If a particular online social group is aimed at saving the environment, a promotional video on global warming would certainly catch that group’s attention. Playing by the online user’s interests and creating videos specifically tailored to their needs can land an online marketer a very good promotional base.
