I came across a post at readwriteweb.com explaining it&#8217;s concerns over <a href="http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/fake_social_network_profiles_a.php">&#8220;Fake Social Network Profiles and calling it a New Form of Identity Theft in 2009&#8243;</a>.</p>
<p>Indeed it&#8217;s something very much annoying and dangerous even though you are no so famous today but who knows? Today consumers have wider reach as Internet is opened up all the possibilities. Some day you will find your brick and mortar site has been viewed by millions of people in just one day. What happens when some one researching your brand name and found a fake profile on any social network?</p>
<p>That&#8217;s an issue with no proper answer and one have to live with it.</p>
